The Addie Totten Library
The Garden's reference library, the Addie Totten Library, is housed in the Totten Center . It contains books, journals, and other reference materials on horticulture, botany, plants of the southeastern United States, natural history, and a small collection of children's natural history books. This reference library is open to the public, though materials may not be checked out. The Addie Totten Library may be visited during regular visiting hours, though you should call ahead (919-962-0522) to ensure availability, as the room is occasionally used for meetings.
In addition, we carry a variety of gardening, botanical, and natural history titles for sale in the Totten Center Gift Shop.
A fund has been established to receive donations for the support of the Addie Totten Library. We welcome contributions to this fund through the Botanical Garden Foundation.
