Food Pantry Donations
From November 15 – December 13, we will collect donations of canned goods for Carolina Cupboard, the on-campus food pantry for UNC students. Click for a list of requested items.
Our Garden Shop is a great place to find unique and thoughtful gifts, from gardening books, to kids’ toys, to plant-themed t-shirts, to crafts by local artisans. Shop in-person during normal Garden hours (Tuesdays-Saturdays 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sundays 1-5 p.m.) or online!
At-Home Wreath Making with Native Plants

UNC Campus Holly Walk (Full)

December is a great time to enjoy the trees of the UNC campus. Ken Moore will trace the footsteps of well-known horticulturist William L. Hunt, who enjoyed leading an annual UNC Winter Campus Tree walk. Among the impressive mature specimens of broad-leaf evergreens and conifers are an amazing collection of evergreen holly species and cultivars. Register here
