Bloodroot Blood Drive
February 26 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
We’re proud to join the American Red Cross for our Bloodroot Blood Drive on Friday, February 26, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
With the ongoing pandemic, the Red Cross needs the help of blood and platelet donors to meet the needs of patient care. Spots are limited: schedule your appointment in advance on the Red Cross website.
Masks are required for everyone, and any participants must past a health screening. Learn more about Red Cross COVID-19 safety precautions.
Snacks will be provided, and we will have a wildflower slideshow for you to enjoy while you donate. We hope to see you there!

Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis) is a short-blooming native wildflower that gets its name from the bright red sap in its underground stems. It usually blooms in late February and March. While you’re at the Garden for your donation, take a stroll to check out the spring ephemerals blooming!
