During this online program, discover how researchers band the ruby-throated hummingbird, North Carolina’s only native hummingbird. Virtually meet local ruby-throated hummingbirds and learn how researchers trap, handle, and band these tiny birds for data recording. Learn about their fascinating lives and hear about native wildflowers and woody plants that provide nectar and fulfill habitat needs.

This program will be delivered via Zoom webinar. A link and password will be emailed to registrants a few days before the event date.
