Join Deena Class for this fun workshop on how to make herbal liquid soap in your kitchen with very simple equipment. During the workshop, Deena will teach you the basics of liquid soapmaking:
- SAFETY,
- formulating a recipe,
- choosing herbs to infuse in your oils ahead of time (we’ll be using our native plantain- Plantago rugelii for this batch)
- herbs to add when you dilute your soap paste if desired, and
- diluting your soap paste into your own unique liquid soap suitable for your skin type and any skin issues you face.
The beauty of liquid soap is that the paste can be made ahead of time (what we’ll do during the workshop) and stored indefinitely. When you need more liquid soap, you just dilute it and use it!
Deena specializes in formulating allergy-friendly herbal products, so the soap made during the workshop will be free of the Top 8 food allergens, free from artificial fragrance and pigments, and safe for most.
