We grow native wildflowers, shrubs, trees, grasses, vines, and ferns in our nursery and greenhouse right here at the North Carolina Botanical Garden.
Starting March 4!
Spring Native Plant Sale
In light of the University’s COVID-19 guidance about gatherings, we will not be
holding an on-site spring plant sale this year. But, we are resuming online
sales with curbside pickup on March 4! We will have lots of terrific native herbaceous perennials, shrubs, and trees to choose from!
September 24 & 25, 2021
Fall Plant Sale
We are currently planning for our normal, in-person Fall Plant Sale, featuring a Members' Night on Friday and public sale on Saturday.
Daily Plant Sale
Open from March through December in the pavilion outside the Garden Shop, our Daily Plant Sale features a rotating selection of southeastern native plants grown right here at the NCBG nursery. All proceeds from the Daily Plant Sale return to the North Carolina Botanical Garden. The Daily Plant Sale is currently closed.
Policy on the Sale of Rare Plant Species
We will only sell rare plants, determined by the global and state status categories of The Nature Conservancy and the
NC Plant Conservation Program, if the assessment shows that there is the potential for little or no harm to conservation goals.
