Enjoy the peaceful holiday splendor of the Garden as we celebrate the end of the year with a craft market, natural ornaments, and more throughout the season.

Holiday Shopping

Our Garden Shop is a great place to find unique and thoughtful gifts, from gardening books, to kids’ toys, to plant-themed t-shirts, to crafts by local artisans. Shop in-person during normal Garden hours (Tuesdays-Saturdays 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sundays 1-5 p.m.) or online!

Natural Ornaments – Family Workshop [Waitlist]

Saturday, December 2, 10-11:30 a.m.
For ages 5 & up with accompanying adult. Decorate for the holidays naturally with acorns, pine cones, milkweed pods, and more! Use your imagination to craft your own unique ornament with materials that nature supplies. Celebrate your creative work with cider or hot cocoa. All materials included. Fee: $15 ($13.50 Members) per child; no fee for accompanying adult. Register now >

Members’ Holiday Party

Saturday, December 2, 3-5 p.m.
We invite all members of the North Carolina Botanical Garden Foundation to celebrate the beauty of the season at the annual Members’ Holiday Party. Invitation with registration details to follow. Members only, but you can become a member at the door or join now!

Winter Craft Market

Sunday, December 3, 1 – 4 p.m.
Find the perfect holiday gifts during our outdoor craft market. Local artists will offer a variety of products, including ceramics, cards, macramé, folk art, botanical wreaths, and jewelry. Vendors will be set up indoors in Reeves Auditorium.
