Arthur Oliver Tucker, III (22 June 1945- 5 August 2019)
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has only about a dozen specimens collected by A. O. Tucker, though as we continue to catalog our collection it is likely that more will be found. As he spent his professional career at Delaware State University, the Claude E. Phillips Herbarium (DOV) at that institution is where he deposited the majority of his botanical collections.
