Garden Open for Twilight Thursdays this Summer

Spiked wild indigo blooms in the Courtyard Gardens at twilight

Every Thursday evening between Memorial Day and Labor Day, we’re staying open until 8 p.m. so you can enjoy our display gardens after work and in cooler temperatures. Our exhibit hall and Garden Shop will be open, and you’re welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy outdoors – we have lots of benches and picnic tables, plus open lawn areas for blankets.

With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed in the Garden, and as part of the UNC campus, open containers of alcohol are prohibited.

Twilight Thursdays will run through September 1. There’s no fee or ticket to attend, but donations to support the Garden are welcome.

Hours and Admission

Our display gardens will be open from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursdays from June 2 through September 1, 2022. There’s no fee or ticket for visiting, but we welcome donations to support the Garden. Make a donation here.
