Getting There

To get to the Mason Farm Biological Reserve you have to pass through the parking lot of Finley Golf Club and drive on a gravel road until you can cross the stream on a low overflow bridge. After heavy rains, there may be too much water flowing over the bridge for a safe crossing.

Accessibility

Access is by permit only. Click here to apply for a permit from the North Carolina Botanical Garden.

The trails at the Mason Farm Biological Reserve are not wheelchair accessible. If you have special needs that could be accommodated to enable your visit to the Reserve, please let us know in advance by calling 919-962-0522.
